Wow, just look at this lady. (I know, I know, the picture is in black and white so you can't see those ocean blues...) Alicia is one of the strongest, most amazing women I know. I remember the day I met her, I was walking with Clarissa through the "woods" behind the Cedar Ave house and she introduced me to her wonderful friend from Hawaii days. I was so impressed with this lady doing an entire home renovation all by herself (with a few friends help, of course). A few months later things had changed a bit in my housing situation and I was offered a coveted spot in the "hippie house". I jumped on it... and there it began, THE BEST ROOMMATE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I have Alicia to thank for that. I know this is disjointed and scattered, forgive me. Alicia is patient, kind, loving, thoughtful, and a great listener. She is one of the most human-minded people I know (meaning, she cares about the human experience in a way not many do). I love that I am part of her life, even though we never get to see each other, I know when we do we can always catch right up where we were with no hesitation. She is an amazing mother, wife, and friend. I have been able to watch Alicia grow in so many ways and I am thankful I am a part of it. I have learned so much from her and I am so thankful for everything she has given me.
I love you Alicia...HAPPY 30th Birthday!!! (Welcome to the 30 and up club sister!)
so after reading everyone else's wonderful posts, I realize they are written TO you not about you... so just imagine mine is the same way... I LOVE you Alicia, I appreciate you and I am thankful for you!
